Archus

Archus are the UK’s leading healthcare specialist and are Square Gain’s strategic partners for sustainable healthcare projects.
Archus and Square Gain are strategic partners in the healthcare sector. Square Gain have partnered Archus on several projects for NHS England, including the development of the NHS Net Zero Building Standard and associated training, and also for NHS Wales working to assess carbon for the NHSW Shared Services Partnership, and to assess the sustainability and costs for the Velindre NHS Trust. Another example of Square Gain’s partnership with Archus is working for the General Pharmaceutical Council to establish their baseline carbon footprint and develop their decarbonisation pathway.
"Archus and Square Gain have worked together as a partnership over the past two years and have delivered highly complex projects tackling sustainability and Net Zero Carbon (NZC) within the UK healthcare sector, predominately with the NHS. These projects have been delivered against tight deadlines due to the importance of the carbon emergency as well as to meet key governmental and company approval dates. Many of these projects have involved complex, multi-faceted engagement across the healthcare landscape, bringing together clinical workforce, operational staff, government members and climate/sustainability experts, to produce high quality deliverable outputs. Greg and the team are highly professional in their speciality subject matter knowledge and experience, but above all, an excellent organisation to work with to ensure deliverables are met to time, expectation and consistently to the satisfaction of the client. Highly trusted with our NHS based sustainability service lines and portfolio and recommended to others."
