Life Science REIT is a real estate investment trust that invests in UK properties that are leased or intended to be leased to tenants operating in the life science sector.

Square Gain has worked with the Life Science REIT since 2022, with support ranging from the development of their ESG Strategy and Net Zero Transition Plan, to Board-level advisory. Square Gain supports the ESG implementation programme to embed environmental and social governance across the company's project development and asset management activities, incorporating climate risks in the company’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) approach, and embedding the ESG approach through ESG training for the investment adviser.

Square Gain also supports the implementation of specific energy and carbon initiatives across the REIT's portfolio such as PV, electricity and heat metering and carbon accounting.
