UN PRI publishes new report on ESG supply chain risk
The Square Gain authored report focuses on ESG risk in the supply chain of private companies.
We are pleased to announce the publication of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment’s (UN PRI) on Managing ESG Risk in the Supply Chain of Private Companies and Assets, authored by Square Gain.
”The business case for effective management of ESG risk, including in the supply chain, is clear; but in private markets where transparency, disclosure and company capacity to manage supply chains may be limited.” said UN PRI Managing Director Fiona Reynolds.
The Guide provides practical initial steps investors can take to assess and manage supply chain risk. This will help investors to be at the forefront of driving the management of ESG risks in the supply chain up the corporate agenda. Square Gain collaborated with leading investors on the project including JP Morgan, HESTA, Macquarie, Meridiam, Pegasus, IFM, Collier Capital, Actis, InfaRed and Partners Group.
The United Nations PRI is the world’s leading proponent of responsible investment, the United Nations-supported international network of financial institutions working together to implement its six aspirational principles, often referenced as "the Principles".
